Central PA Connect is a Health Information Exchange (HIE). Administered by Lancaster General Health and founded on an information exchange capability in place since 2008, Central PA Connect is primarily focused on providers in the counties of Lancaster, York, Lebanon, Berks and Dauphin.
Central PA Connect includes LG Health’s extensive patient information database and community patient portal services used by hundreds of area independent providers including specialty practices, behavioral health providers, and skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Now Central PA Connect is joining the Pennsylvania eHealth Partnership, a PA Patient & Provider Network with a key objective to expand interoperability across the State.
A secure, electronic health information exchange like Central PA Connect provides many benefits for both clinicians and patients.
